Evgeny studied under the mentorship of cinematographer Naum Gerasimovich Avrunin, a prominent member of the Union of Cinematographers. He holds degrees from VGIK (Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography) the Institute of Cinema and Television in St. Petersburg and in the directing workshop of Nikolai Konovalovand the College of Culture.
Throughout his career, Evgeny has extensively collaborated with international production companies. Films lenses by him as a Director of Photography have garnered accolades at major international festivals, including those (US) and (Japan).
